TB-500
The other healing peptide with no human trials.
TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of thymosin beta-4, a protein involved in cell repair. We grade TB-500 D on evidence and D for worth-it at about $40-70 per month.

What it does
TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of thymosin beta-4, a protein involved in cell repair. Like BPC-157, it is discussed online for injury recovery. No published human trials exist, it is not approved for human use, and it is banned in sport.
What the research says
Tissue repair signaling (preclinical only)
Evidence: weak. No completed human clinical trials of the TB-500 fragment exist. Full-length thymosin beta-4 had early human trials (venous ulcer, dry eye) with mixed results; those do not transfer to the fragment. A 2024 doping-control study notes TB-500's biological effects 'have not been documented.'
DRAFT: no published human trials and no regulatory approval; anecdote is not evidence.
Is it worth it?
DRAFT: expensive unregulated research chemicals with no human efficacy data.
Typical cost
$40-70/month
Common form, not a brand recommendation
Dosage contextno established dose
No established human dosage exists.
Safety notes
RESEARCH-USE COMPOUND, NOT APPROVED: no completed human trials of the fragment; unregulated manufacturing with documented purity problems; theoretical oncologic concern from sustained pro-angiogenic signaling unresolved. WADA-banned at all times. FDA's compounding committee voted 8-6 (nonbinding, July 2026) to consider it for the 503A bulks list; no final FDA action as of Sept 2026. Talk to your doctor.
